Race Beneficiaries
The race supports 2 great causes- the Chester County Down Syndrome Interest group and the Parkinson Council.
The Chester County Down syndrome Interest Group (CCDSIG) is a nonprofit organization that began in 1998 with a group of parents who wanted to meet for social contact and support.
The Parkinson Council is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Parkinson’s disease patients, their families and caregivers by providing financial support to local nonprofits and institutions.
My parents personally received many resources and support from the Council. It also created a network of friends and a community to assist them in managing my Dad’s Parkinson’s Disease.
